Alexia Kovacs provides individual therapy and family therapy to adults, teens, and children. She believes in the importance of connecting with clients to build a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship. Alexia believes that all clients have the power to make meaningful and lasting changes in their lives. Her mission is to help clients expand their inner strengths and skills to work toward improved emotional health and well-being.
About Alexia
Alexia is a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who has been working with individuals, families, and children since 2016. Alexia has helped clients struggling with a variety of issues ranging from everyday life challenges to times of crisis. Some of the areas she specializes in are depression, anxiety, and trauma. She uses several evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. In addition to working as a therapist, Alexia works as an Adjunct Professor at the Pepperdine Graduate School of Education and Psychology, where she teaches courses in psychopathology and theories of psychology.
At this time, Alexia offers both virtual sessions and in person sessions to best serve client needs.
